Gizmo5 was a voice client, VoIP, that allowed users to make free phone and video calls over the internet. The company was acquired by Google in 2010 and later on became Google Voice.
During my employment at Gizmo5, I was the only designer in the company where I actively collaborated with a small cross-functional team through the production and release of the Gizmo 5 app. This included the desktop client for Windows, Mac and Linux, as well as mobile apps for iOS, Android and Symbian OS, for Nokia phones; ensuring a consistent and effective user experience throughout. During this time, I was also responsible for the creation of the company’s corporate identity and applied it to the company’s multiple platforms and collateral materials
